The journey to Overlook Walk in Pike Place Market

The goal with this project was to show just how far Efrem Fesaha and Boon Boona Coffee have come.

We set out to tell the story of Boon Boona’s humble beginnings as a green coffee distributor to local East African grocery stores, in contrast with their new location as the crowd jewel of the Seattle waterfront.

We collaborated closely on the script and voice-over, with Efrem lending his voice to the project. I then designed the look and feel of the video, using a cut-out style that relied heavily on photos and textures.

We’re really happy with how this video turned out! It captures the full breadth of journey, while showcasing Boon Boona’s amazing new cafe!
